I'm starting to listen to OPM music again after a very, very long hiatus. I started listening to OPM because of Sarah Geronimo's 2013 album, Expressions and her follow-up, Perfectly Imperfect. This last two album should definitely be the new Sarah G sound. No more birit. "Birit" is not the standard of when one should be called a great singer. Sarah G has done that in competition shows and joining the Champion singers on ASAP live musical variety show. She's no longer in a singing competition and it's definitely time she move beyond that phase. Thank God!
